Dr. Pennathur's research interests include: molecular staging of esophageal and lung cancer; newer image guided technologies including Cyberknife stereotactic radiosurgery and radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of lung cancer; surgical outcomes research; minimally invasive thoracic surgery; and acute lung injury.
