The North American Breast Cancer Group (NABCG) is dedicated to the study and advancement of breast cancer therapies through inter-Group collaboration on clinical trials. Additionally, this mission includes investigation into biologic correlates and quality of life in breast cancer through performance of correlative and companion studies associated with these trials. We collaborate with BIG in the BIG-NABCG collaboration.
Who we are
Breast cancer researchers from the Cooperative Groups conducting research in breast cancer make up the NABCG. Groups include:
- ECOG-ACRIN (ECOG and ACRIN)
- The National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group (NCIC CTG)
- NRG Oncology (NSABP, RTOG, GOG)
- The Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG)
The graphic above shows the relationship between members of the North American Breast Cancer Group (NABCG) and Breast International Group (BIG). The BIG-NABCG collaboration is made up of members of both groups that come together for research projects and research-related projects. Click on the image for a larger version.
Resources for Specimens
The NABCG Correlative Sciences Committee is a resource for investigators seeking specimens for use in correlative studies.
The BIG Biomaterial Inventory is an additional resource for investigators seeking specimens.
